71 Deerlijk – Militär Friedhof St Louis : 12 burials – moved to Heule 178
However the burial book at the RAM that is undated holds only 2 names
The Umbettungsliste West and East Flanders mentioned 4 burials
It seems that these 4 burials were moved to Deerlijk 187 and from there to Heule 178

This is probably the Ehrenfriedhof that has a burial book at the RAM – it dates from 1929 and talks about 82 burials

Another burial book for this cemetery at the RAM confirms this, 39 burials – 3 Allied burials. Two of these were British and one was Italian, Guido D’All Asta who had died at the Feldlazarett 96 at Tielt.

47 graves are mentioned in the Esen burial book at the RAM. However it seems to be concerning two locations, but it is very confusing, not to say it doesn’t really make any sense. So the number 47 probably stands for both cemeteries previously mentioned

94 Esen – Gelände Gräber : unknown number – moved to Esen Roggeveld 156

95 Eggewaartskapelle – Gelände Gräber : 41 burials given as in the area of the village – no further information, the Umbettungsliste West and East Flanders has a question mark near the fact that they may have been moved to Vladslo…

358 Moere – Militär Friedhof beim Schloss : 106 burials – moved to Vladslo Praetbos 7
A copy of the burial book at the RAM is quite confusing. At first sight there are 68 graves but there seem to be several persons in the same grave. 8 times grave 22 – 5 times the 20 – 3 times the 12 – 2 times the 11 – 2 times the 10 – 5 times the 8 – 6 times the 7 – 5 times the 6 – 7 times the 5 – 5 times the 4 – 4 times the 3 and 3 times the 2. That creates a total of 43 extras plus 68, makes 111… To add to the confusion there’s even a second burial book at the RAM…

359 Moere – Gemeinde Friedhof an der Kirche : 37 burials – moved to Vladslo Praetbos 7
42 names in the big burial book at the RAM, of which 2 are Belgians, several unknowns…
There’s even a typed 3rd list which makes things even worse. There are 7 Belgians in this one and 2 French. And some graves hold several bodies of unknowns. And 38 German burials…
Note : at the RAM there is a burial book about Kriegerfriedhof II at Moere which actually refers to the one at the church. Again two lists. The small list has 37 names, with several unknowns.

The Umbettungsliste West and East Flanders confirms that only 59 burials were moved

526 Rumbeke Beitem – Militär Friedhof : probably 63 burials – moved to Ledegem 45 or 44 ?
The cemeteries at Beitem are, and that is the least one can say, mysterious.  Officially there should have been 63 German burials and 9 British burials…
Also, officially, they were moved to the Ehrenfriedhof 44 Ledegem Sint Pieter.
But… They are not in the burial book of the cemetery at the RAM.
The British burials were not found back.  Neither were the German ones.
Autor/historian Jan Vancoillie suspects that they are still there and never were moved, and that is probably the right conclusion on this matter.

527 Rumbeke Beitem – Militär Friedhof der Garde Fussartillerie – 40 burials – moved to Ledegem 40 probably

528 Rumbeke – Gelände Gräber : 2, probably 5
Another mystery concerning Rumbeke : 2 and 3 graves were moved to Beveren-Roeselare and can be found in that burial book at the RAM from 1923, all unknown, but the number is to low to come from on of the 3 burial grounds previously mentioned. Gelände Gräber in at least 2 cases from 1918.

529 Ruislede – Ehrenteil Gemeinde Friedhof : 37 burials – moved to Beveren Roeselare 27 in 1931. According to one source only 35 were moved and found.
